Trust & verification

How we verify remote jobs

Every listing on RemoteWorkFinder.Online goes through automated checks and editorial review. Here is exactly what we do — and what we don't — so you can apply with confidence.

1. Source transparency on every listing

Each external job shows where it came from, when we first ingested it, when we last refreshed it, and the original employer link. You can always trace a listing back to its source before you apply.

2. Employer verification (optional but encouraged)

Employers who post directly can request verification. Our team checks the company's website, online presence, hiring footprint, and contact channels. Verified employers get a badge and higher placement. Unverified is not a red flag — it just means we haven't reviewed them yet.

3. Automated scam detection

We scan every listing for patterns associated with remote-work fraud — wire-transfer requests, unrealistic salary promises, "no interview" hires, requests for sensitive data upfront, and other known signals. Each job carries a low / medium / high scam-risk badge.

4. User reporting

Anyone can report a listing from its job page. Reports are triaged by an admin within 48 hours. Confirmed scams are removed and the source is flagged for stricter review.

5. What we do NOT do

We do not collect application fees. We do not ask for ID or banking details. We do not pay employers for placement (sponsored slots are clearly labeled). We do not republish a listing after the source removes it.

6. Have a concern?

If a listing looks suspicious or you've had a bad experience, use the "Report listing" button on any job page or contact us directly. We take every report seriously.
